November 6th 2026
CD
Doveland is the sixth studio album by the British art-rock quartet Django Django, scheduled for release on November 6, 2026, via Clouds Hill.
The album takes its title from an online urban myth about a supposedly vanished Midwestern town named Doveland that appears on no maps, yet is vividly remembered by people who believe they once lived there. Stripping away the restless genre-hopping of their prior work like Off Planet, the band retreated to the German countryside to work with producer Nick McCarthy (of Franz Ferdinand) and composer/producer Pollyester, crafting a back-to-basics, highly personal record. It is deeply shaped by themes of memory, loss, grief, and the temporary human connections we make along the way. Guest contributors on the album include Hak Baker and Max Pope.
