Palace for the People is the fifth studio album by the Grammy Award-winning American rock band Greta Van Fleet. Scheduled for release on October 9, 2026 via Lava/Republic Records, the album marks the end of a three-year hiatus following their 2023 release, Starcatcher.
The concept behind the album was inspired by London's historic Alexandra Palace, historically nicknamed “The Palace of the People” because it was built as a public gathering ground rather than an exclusive space for elites. Reflecting on stories from fans who built deep friendships at their shows, the band envisioned their own music as a communal "palace"—a shared space to gather, connect, and seek shelter.
