Elisabeth is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Zach Bryan, originally self-released on May 8, 2020, through Belting Bronco Records.
Before signing with a major label, Zach Bryan recorded the entire 18-track album himself using a laptop in a barn behind his home. This home-grown setting defines the album’s raw, minimalist acoustic-folk and alt-country sound, leaving all focus on his intense, poetic songwriting and distinctively gritty vocals. Named after his ex-wife (Rose Elisabeth Madden), the project acts as a companion piece to his debut album, DeAnn. It explores themes of love, intense longing, military life, personal vices, and small-town roots. The album notably contains his breakout viral hit single "Heading South" alongside "Revival", which has since become his definitive live show closer.
