9Million is the self-titles debut from Toronto shoegaze band, helmed by multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Matthew Tomasi. Best known for his work with alt-pop artists like Ethel Cain and Nicole Dollanganger, Tomasi has also gained steady notoriety in his local music community for his work as a producer and mix engineer. A tireless creator and songwriter himself, Tomasi also plays and contributes creatively to the music of countless other bands and independent artists. Tomasi along with 6 other members complete the 9Million project which includes Ace Mendoza (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Danielle Clark (Vocals, Acoustic), Lia Lepre (Keys, Percussion), Jamie MacNaughton (Bass), Noah Aviles-Betel (Drums), and Looch Man (Guitar, Vocals). Tomasi says 9Million started out "as a creative outlet for myself to explore new sounds and ideas that I wasn't touching on with any of my other projects or clients', but quickly the project took on a collaborative spirit. Since their release of "Gush" 9Million have been touring all over North America supporting bands such as Glitterer, Cold Mega, Ethel Cain, Angel Du$t, Candy, & Fleshwater. After releasing Lucky EP & WTKHTS EP 9Million have been announced as direct support for Ethel Cain on the 47 day sold out tour across NA & UK/EU.
