Indie Exclusive "daydream" coloured vinyl
"It Was Only a Dream" is the highly anticipated debut studio album by American gothic nu-metal and alt-rock singer-songwriter Amira Elfeky, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026, via Anemoia Records and Atlantic Records.
Following the massive underground success of her EPs Skin to Skin (2024) and Surrender (2025), as well as a high-profile collaboration with I Prevail on "Paradise," this marks Elfeky's first full-length album. Musically, the Los Angeles-based artist delivers a heavy, melancholic mix of nu-gaze, alternative metal, and brooding goth flair, heavily inspired by early-2000s giants like Evanescence, Deftones, and Linkin Park.
Conceptually, Elfeky spent over a year writing the album in complete solitude. She describes the overarching narrative as a space "where dream Amira and reality Amira collide as one," exploring the mental gap between the fearless version of oneself in imagination and the version shown to the world.
