Serenades is the 1993 debut album by British doom/death metal band Anathema. Released through Peaceville Records, it is known for its heavy, emotional sound and is a landmark album in the death-doom genre. The album is also Anathema's only full-length record to feature Darren White on lead vocals before the band moved toward a more progressive and atmospheric style.
