A cult classic of the French disco scene, In Need Of... combines the soulful sounds of New York disco with a high-energy European sensibility. For this album, Bell collaborated with a creative team that included the Lafayette Afro-Rock Band's Arthur Young and Frank Abel, with keyboard and guitar work from Jacob Desvarieux of Kassav', backing vocals by Chantal Curtis, and legendary synth production by Patrick Cowley. The original tracks have been remastered by The Carvery for this reissue.
