"We Are Together Again" is the 31st studio album by the prolific American indie-folk icon Bonnie "Prince" Billy (Will Oldham). Following his 2024 Nashville-recorded project "The Purple Bird", this album marks a return to Oldham's creative roots in Louisville, Kentucky. Recorded at End of an Ear in Louisville, the sound is intimate and collaborative. It leans heavily on vocal harmonies and acoustic instrumentation, specifically woodwinds (Jacob Duncan) and multi-instrumental textures from Thomas Deakin and Ned Oldham. The album is a "family affair" featuring key figures from the Louisville scene. It includes notable guest vocals from Catherine Irwin (of Freakwater) and the three frontwomen of the band Duchess (Lacey Guthrie, Tory Fisher, and Katie Peabody).
