Burying Brightness is the critically acclaimed third studio album by American metalcore band Boundaries, released on October 14, 2022, through 3DOT Recordings. Formed in Hartford, Connecticut, the band crafted a deeply emotional record that balances modern beatdown hardcore violence with progressive, technical riffs, and gothic melodies reminiscent of early-2000s metalcore giants. Lyrically penned by vocalist Matt McDougal, the album handles intensely dark themes of mental illness, internal struggles, and the devastating fallout of watching someone close to you lose themselves in darkness.
