"Worth Every Nail" is the 2026 studio album by veteran country and folk songwriter Chris Gantry. Set for release on October 23, 2026, through the Appalachia Record Co., the album serves as a mission statement, a plea for reflection, and a celebration of his six-decade career.
Backed by most of Silver Jews, along with Third Man Records collaborators, Gantry is lifted up by a new generation of outsider folk and alt-country artists. Tracked live in 5 days, he returns to the crossover folk, psychedelia and trad country of his late 60's/ early 70's albums. 'Nail' is a mission, a truth bomb, a plea for reflection, and celebration of a 60 year career. Guest vocalists Erin Rae McKaskle, Caitlin Rose, and Cassie Berman also join.
