Hum of Hurt is the 2026 twelfth studio album by American metallic hardcore pioneers Converge. Serving as their second full-length drop of the year following Love Is Not Enough, the project functions as a deeply emotional, bleak, and volatile assessment of human suffering. Musically, it was recorded and mixed by guitarist Kurt Ballou at God City Studios and strikes a brilliant balance between devastating mathcore chaos, visceral sludge-infused attacks, and atmospheric, post-metal-tinged melodies.
