On January 24, 1991, British alternative rock band The Cure recorded their iconic acoustic performance for MTV Unplugged. The session was filmed in London at Limehouse TV Studios on a dimly lit, cozy stage decorated with candles and pillows. It was first broadcast on March 3, 1991.
