The Irish project Dead Calm is a solo alias of Liam McCay, a young musician from County Donegal known for releasing music across multiple lo-fi and indie-focused projects.

This release is a repress of Dead Calm’s debut full-length Accept, originally issued in 2023, and it presents the album in a refreshed physical edition on vinyl. The music sits in a lo-fi, indie rock and slowcore-influenced space, characterized by intimate vocal delivery, understated instrumentation, and a melancholic, diary-like emotional tone. The writing style across the album is direct and personal, often focused on relationships, isolation, and emotional reflection.
