Strange Highways is the sixth studio album by the American heavy metal band Dio, released in Europe in October 1993 and in the U.S. in January 1994. It is widely considered the band's heaviest and darkest record, marking a significant sonic departure from the fantasy-themed "classic" Dio sound of the 1980s.
