Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is the sixth studio album by the American progressive metal band Dream Theater, originally released in 2002. It is a landmark release in their discography, notable for being their longest album at the time (until The Astonishing in 2016) and a double-disc effort. The second disc famously consists of a single, epic 42-minute title track divided into eight parts, exploring the six different characters dealing with various mental health conditions.
