Vinyl Reissue
The Dusty Springfield album Longing, released on vinyl by Real Gone Music. The album consists of ten tracks recorded with producer Arthur Greenslade in the early 1970s that were previously shelved. Nine of the tracks were included on a 2001 CD compilation, but this release marks their vinyl debut. The material showcases Springfield's voice at the peak of its powers, but was recorded during a period of personal insecurity, lending the songs a unique emotional depth.
