Originally released in 1970, First Step marked the transition of the Small Faces into the Faces following the arrival of Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood from the Jeff Beck Group. The album is celebrated for its loose, boozy, and soulful blend of rock, folk, and blues. This specific 2015 audiophile pressing was released as part of a series celebrating the band's catalog and features a deluxe gatefold jacket that replicates the original artwork.
