HUG is the self-titled debut album by the collaborative trio HUG, featuring singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart, classical/minimalist guitarist Gyan Riley, and Grammy-winning producer/multi-instrumentalist Noah Georgeson. Scheduled for release on September 11, 2026, the album is being put out by David Byrne's influential record label, Luaka Bop.
The instrumentation relies heavily on a delicate mix of acoustic guitars, kalimbas, light percussion, synths, and programming.
