2LP, Rojo Perlado (Pearlescent Red)
The "Edición Española" Exclusive Rojo Perlado (Pearlescent Red) variant is a highly sought-after, limited physical edition of Interpol's eighth studio album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton. Released on August 28, 2026, through Partisan Records, this specific release is tailored for audiences in Spain, Latin America, and select collectors in the US.
While the tracks feature the band's classic post-punk sound, the outer sleeve explicitly lists the Spanish translations for the titles.
This Mirror Weighs a Ton, Interpol’s first album in four years and debut for Partisan Records, finds the band turning inward while continuing to move forward. Across the record, reflection, distortion and perception become a lens through which familiar shapes are refracted into something slightly alien, as if seen through a different kind of light.
Track list:
- This Mirror Weighs a Ton (Este Espejo Pesa Una Tonelada)
- See Out Loud (Ver en Voz Alta) — Notable for featuring guitarist Daniel Kessler on lead vocals.
- Iron City (Ciudad de Hierro)
- Wounded Soldier (Soldado Herido)
- Wings on Fire (Alas en Llamas)
- Even the Actor (Siempre El Actor)
