(LP) Jim Legxacy - Homeless N*gga Pop Music

Homeless N*gga Pop Music is the critically acclaimed debut mixtape by South London rapper, singer, and producer Jim Legxacy, released on April 26, 2023. Written, performed, and entirely self-produced by the Lewisham-based artist, the project is a boundary-pushing collision of styles. It flawlessly meshes midwest emo guitar samples and vulnerable, pitch-shifted vocals with dynamic UK drill rhythms, Afrobeats percussion, Jersey club tempos, and early-2010s internet pop nostalgia. Lyrically, the mixtape captures a turbulent and deeply personal era for the artist, written while he was actively grappling with housing insecurity, identity, and complex, crumbling relationships.
