Relish Reimagined is a jazz-inspired reimagining of Joan Osborne’s landmark 1995 multi-platinum debut album, Relish. Released on November 13, 2026, via Brother Mister Productions and Mack Avenue Music Group, the 11-track project arrives just over 30 years after the original record.
Produced by 11-time Grammy-winning bassist Christian McBride, the record strips away the roots-rock, pop, and blues-folk grit of the 1995 original and reinterprets the songs through a sophisticated, exploratory lens of jazz and funk.
Osborne teamed up with an all-star ensemble of modern jazz heavyweights—including Christian McBride, Marc Ribot, Nate Smith, Caelan Cardello, Renee Rosnes, Jerome Jennings, and Donny McCaslin. The project stems from three decades of personal perspective, giving Osborne and her bandmates room for spontaneous jazz improvisation while re-examining fan-favorite tracks.
