It serves as the opening installment of their dual-album project, preceding its sister record Equus Caballus. Meaning "donkey" in Latin, the 14-track record layers their signature dream-pop grooves with moody acoustic arrangements, folk-infused rhythms, and slower-tempo songwriting.
