the 2025 vinyl reissue of Other Voices, Other Rooms by Nanci Griffith. The 2LP set was re-released by Elektra/WEA as part of the Elektra 75th Anniversary celebration.
The album was originally released in 1993 and is a tribute to the folk music tradition. In a rare departure from her own songwriting, Griffith covers classic folk songs alongside a cast of legends, including Emmylou Harris, Arlo Guthrie, and John Prine. The record became a cornerstone of the Americana and folk music scenes, earning Griffith a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album. The reissue is based on the 2025 remaster and features comprehensive liner notes.
