Songs For Nothing is an album by Irish musician and producer Olan Monk, released on November 7, 2025, via the London label AD 93. The album was written following Monk's return to the west coast of Ireland and is deeply influenced by the landscape and Irish musical traditions.
The album marks a departure from Olan Monk's previous electronic work, moving towards a more organic, textured sound described as "collaged pop, machinic rock and slow airs". Key influences include sean-nós (unaccompanied Irish language singing in the "old style") and the confessional songwriting of the late Sinéad O'Connor.
