Limited edition pink vinyl reissue
Vinyl release by the Malian guitarist Ousmane Kouyaté. The album was reissued on July 18, 2025, by the label Analog Africa.
The release features two funk-infused Mandingue tracks from the early 1980s that were originally released on cassette. Ousmane Kouyaté, a griot and former guitarist for Salif Keita, was an innovator of the modern electric Mandingue sound. The tracks were recorded at the JBZ Recording Studio in Abidjan and have been meticulously restored for this reissue.
