Labcabincalifornia is the second studio album by American alternative hip-hop group The Pharcyde, released on November 14, 1995. Serving as a mature, darker, and more introspective follow-up to their buoyant 1992 debut Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, the album is heavily anchored by the innovative, jazz-infused production of a then-burgeoning J Dilla (credited as Jay Dee). It also features production contributions from Diamond D, M-Walk, and the group themselves. The album includes the classic singles "Runnin'", "She Said", and "Drop"—the latter famous for its iconic music video directed by Spike Jonze, where the group performed their lyrics entirely in reverse.
