"Luces En La Pista" is a highly sought-after track by Cuban artist Raúl Gómez, originally released in 1981. It stands out as a premier example of rare Cuban disco and jazz-funk from the late 1970s and early 1980s. The track gained renewed global attention among record collectors and DJs after being featured on high-profile compilations.
It was included in the compilation "Cuba: Music and Revolution: Culture and the Afro-Cuban Funk Sound 1975-85 Vol. 2", curated by broadcaster Gilles Peterson and Stuart Baker for Soul Jazz Records.
