RIO KOSTA, aka Mike Del Rio & Kosta Galanopoulos, crafted their sound fusing much of their respective heritages; Greek, Bahamian, Spanish, Italian, and Puerto Rican - blending the old world with the new. The band have since sold out international tours, landed high-profile music placements (FC 26, skate, Apple & Target) & built up an impressive profile that has seen them championed by the likes of KCRW & BBC 6 Music.
Just as their music breaks free from genre constraints, their journey crosses borders without the need for a metaphorical passport. Recorded at the band’s eccentric 'Hotel Havana' studio in Los Angeles, RIO KOSTA excels at music that simply makes you feel.
