Ça Va Ça Va by the Israeli psychedelic funk band Sababa 5. Released on February 20, 2026, via Batov Records, it marks a "return to the roots" for the Paris-based group.
Ça Va Ça Va is described as a "hafla album," centered on the Middle Eastern festive music traditionally played at weddings and parties. The band reconstructs these Mediterranean sounds with modern psychedelic guitars, cosmic synths, and driving rhythms. While primarily consisting of original material, the project includes "Ypárcho," an instrumental journey inspired by a Greek classic, and "Asunsan," a reworking of their previous collaboration with Yurika Hanashima.
