Limited Clear Vinyl Pressing
Sleater-Kinney celebrates the 30th anniversary of their sophomore album, "Call The Doctor", with a new white-pearlescent vinyl edition. Originally released on March 25, 1996 by Chainsaw Records, the album is often considered to be Sleater-Kinney's first proper album because Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein left their previous bands, Heavens To Betsy and Excuse 17, at the time of its recording. The line-up featured Tucker (vocals, guitar), CBrownstein (guitar, vocals), and Lora Macfarlane (drums, vocals). "Call The Doctor" appeared at number three in The Village Voice's "Pazz & Jop" critics' poll for 1996. In 2010, the album was ranked number 49 in the list of the 100 greatest albums of the 90s by the editors of Rolling Stone.
