View From The Outside is the upcoming second full-length studio album by the Chicago-based shoegaze and alternative rock band Sleepwalk. Scheduled for release on November 13, 2026, via MNRK Heavy, it marks the band's first major album release in five years since 2021's Underneath The Shade.
The album was tracked over a twelve-day period at Earth Analog Studios in Tolono, Illinois—a facility owned by Matt Talbott, frontman of the influential 90s space-rock band Hum. Sleepwalk partnered again with producer Zac Montez (known for his work with Whirr and Cloakroom) to craft a massive, multi-dimensional wall of sound. The record bridges their traditional heavy, gloomy shoegaze textures with elements of 90s alternative rock, post-hardcore, and a trip-hop-influenced closing track.
