72RHR is a solo album by Canadian multimedia artist Sook-Yin Lee that uses a rigid conceptual framework to explore the chaos of modern life.
The title 72RHR refers to "72 Resting Heart Rate"—the average number of beats per minute for a relaxed adult. Every song on the record is strictly composed at 72 BPM, a limitation Lee chose to mirror the difficult and often non-sublime nature of meditation.
