Theo Lawrence's highly anticipated major-label debut album, À La Mode, is scheduled for release on August 28, 2026, via Reprise Records and Warner Records.
Recorded in Chicago at Reliable Recorders alongside producer and drummer Alex Hall, À La Mode serves as Lawrence's definitive nod to timeless American songcraft. The project elegantly bridges vintage genres, operating at the intersection of 1960s Brill Building pop, Southern soul, and French yé-yé.
The album swaps modern production for warm, organic analog tones specifically mixed to honor vinyl as a medium. Backed by an elite studio band—including Thibault Ripault on guitar, Billy Horton on bass, and Joe Roddy on piano—the record juxtaposes lush, string-and-horn-smoothed arrangements with intimate, lo-fi romantic moments. It is heavily defined by Lawrence's signature smooth vocals and precise, throwback melodies
