The compilation album Born in the City of Tanta: Lower Egyptian Urban Folklore and Bedouin Shaabi From Libya's Bourini Records 1968–75 features eight tracks by various Egyptian and Libyan artists. These tracks were originally released on the Libyan label Bourini Records between 1968 and 1975. Released by Sublime Frequencies in March 2025, the album presents Lower Egyptian urban folklore and Bedouin shaabi, providing a different musical perspective from the popular Cairo music of that time.
