The album is a compilation of Japanese garage rock from the 1960s, showcasing the Group Sounds Movement. This movement was influenced by Western rock bands, particularly the British Invasion led by The Beatles. The tracks on the album feature fuzzed-out guitars, heavy rhythms, and high-energy performances from some of the most influential acts of the Japanese psychedelic and garage scene.
