The Practical Magic (Music From The Motion Picture) soundtrack is officially coming to vinyl for the first time. Scheduled for release on October 30, 2026 as a part of the Rhino Records Rocktober campaign, this highly anticipated 1-LP retail exclusive is pressed on a limited "Midnight Margarita" Green & Yellow Splatter vinyl.
Originally released in 1998 alongside Griffin Dunne’s cult-favourite romantic fantasy film starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, this soundtrack perfectly bottles up late-'90s pop nostalgia, moody witchy atmosphere, and themes of sisterhood.
Curated by the same team behind the multi-platinum City of Angels soundtrack, the album features two newly recorded tracks by the "White Witch" herself, Stevie Nicks (including her spectacular collaborative cover of "Crystal" with Sheryl Crow). It transitions effortlessly between classic folk-rock, pop, and soul, featuring legendary cuts from Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, Elvis Presley, Nick Drake, and Harry Nilsson's iconic "Coconut" (the backdrop for the film's famous midnight margarita kitchen scene). The track list is completed by two essential movements from Alan Silvestri's mystical film score.
