Hard Philippines: A Collection Of 70s Pinoy Hard Rock, Fuzzed Out Rockers, Hard Glam And Face Melting Guitar Madness !!! is a 2026 archival compilation album released on vinyl by the independent reissue label Akenaton Records. Released on May 26, 2026, the collection acts as an expansive retrospective of the golden era of underground Filipino rock music.
Sonically, the record provides a massive, amplifier-shredding survey of heavy styles. It incorporates everything from acid rock, aggressive glam, and heavy blues to fuzzed-out proto-punk garage rock. Driven by fierce Tagalog and English vocal delivery, crashing rhythms, and heavily distorted guitar solos, the release highlights legendary scene pioneers like the Juan de la Cruz Band, Anak Bayan, and Wally Gonzalez.
