Domestic Bliss is the third studio album by the London-based trio Voka Gentle and represents a shift from the band's folk origins toward a "throat-grabbing" avant-garde indie rock sound. It is a conceptual work exploring themes of power—its abuse, its allure, and its historical cycles—through a mix of literature, Greek mythology, and pop culture references. Musically, the record features eccentric production choices, including jammed synths, tribal electronics, and binaural field recordings of motorbikes and Morris dancers.
