the 2025 180g vinyl reissue of Metiendo Mano! by Willie Colón and Rubén Blades.
The original 1977 album was a landmark release in the history of salsa music, and the first of several collaborations between the two salsa icons. The album is considered revolutionary for its time due to its lyrical focus on social commentary and narratives about the struggles of urban Latinos. Colón's innovative production, which gave the tracks a distinct flavor, combined with Blades' songwriting, launched Blades to international fame. The 2025 reissue features (AAA) lacquers cut from the original master tapes, ensuring a high-quality sound for fans and collectors.
