Limited edition reissue on transparent green vinyl
the album Lost in the Cedar Wood by Johnny Flynn & Robert Macfarlane, a collaboration between the English musician and the nature writer.
The album is a correspondence set to music, written during COVID-19 lockdowns. The artists exchanged notebook pages, voice memos, and WhatsApp messages to create the songs. The record is inspired by the ancient myth of The Epic of Gilgamesh.
The music was recorded in an off-grid cottage in a Hampshire forest. The result is a mix of poetry, myth, and music, combining Flynn's folk style with Macfarlane's lyrics
